Eggciting news

We got to the town and i had my Pokemon out with me but something seemed to be going on so i returned Val and Nina.There were a few people around a small building with a large fenced in backyard i went to see what the commotion was and broke through the crowd,there was a young girl talking to an elderly man

"Where did you get it mister!!?"The young girl asked holding a strange oval like object in her hand

"Dear if i knew I'd tell you i went out back to try to train your lopunny and there it was in her hands"
The oval object seemed to be a Pokemon egg.

"I Hear Pokemon eggs are very hard to come by!"someone in the crowd shouted
"My Uncle got one once and it hatched into a mew!" someone else said

and after a bit the whole crowd broke out into commotion arguing if Pokemon eggs were rare,fake or hatched into legendaries.I Kept listening and kept glancing at the girls Egg it she was holding it tightly and the lopunny beside her was petting the top of it to keep it warm.I Began to walk to the Pokemon center to rest up a bit until i heard a familiar voice call my name,I turned to see Rachel walking towards me.

[Chronos]

"Hi there, kid." A cuddled Eevee was in Rachel's arms. "Did you see that egg? Do you think it belongs to the Lopunny that girl had? She didn't seem to have made her pokémon breed though..."

The crowd was spreading out slowly.

"And I surely don't think that a Mew ever hatched from someone's egg..."

"Yeah I thought the same thing,and maybe the lopunny meet some one in the daycare?"
we both chuckled

"so when did you get that little guy" i said petting the Eevee's Head in her arms. I could tell Manny was jealous so i nodded and he jumped into my arms trying to be the center of attention.

[Chronos]

She smiled and petted the little fox's head.

"You see, I have two sisters, Mariane and Belle. Our father is a lab researcher who works on pokémon types, such as fire, electricity, water... His favorite pokémon is Eevee. So we grew up along my father's Espeon. When we each got our 16th anniversairy, he gave us an Eevee egg. Mariane loves water pokémon so she is going to make hers evolve into Vaporeon. Belle adores Electric-types, hers is going to be a Jolteon. And I, well, I grew fond of fire pokémons, like my Rapidash, Fafnir, you saw at the contest."

Something lustered into her eyes when she said the word "contest". She couldn't wait to battle Callum again.

"So little Fira here is going to grow to be a Flareon."

"Vee!"

"Thats Awesome! you might be excited to see what i have here!"
I reached to my belt and pulled off the poke ball i let out Nina in front of me and she Yawned coming out she was still a little weak from the battle to catch her Rachel looked at the vulpix with adoring eyes and pet her head

as She played with Nina i could not help thinking how close the next contest was and how little training we had gotten i was going to have to grind if i was going to beat Rachel again,no dumb luck this time.

[Chronos]

"Oh wow!!! A Vulpix! You are so cute!" She looked at Callum. "When I'll ask my dad for a firestone, I'll ask two, one for Fira and one for your Vulpix, so she can become a beautiful Ninetails!"

She grinned.

"So, when are you going to begin your training, sir? I hear the contest is in four days!"

"That would be great!" i said
A ninetails would be perfect for contest appeals and battle...

"Well I think I'll rest up A bit at the Pokemon center its been a long day for us,but after that I'm going to train like there no tomorrow and after were strong enough we will have a battle!"

I said with a new found confidence you only get when around a rival.

[Chronos]

"Well, then, I can't wait! I, myself, am going to train Eevee from this hour. I'll see you tomorrow then!"

She walked away, waving her arm. And at the last moment, she turned around and said:

"Be prepared!"

It was about 8pm now, the sky was turning red and the lights began to glow in the swarming lanterns of the town.

I got to the Pokemon center and checked into a room after healing everyone.I laid awake staring at the ceiling,Manny and Nina were curled up at my feet and Valerie lay beside my head.I was thinking about Jhoto and the first time i saw a contest and the feeling i felt... i thought about catching Valerie and nina........I closed my eyes and slowly feel asleep.....
