Catching a Pal

We walked west and reached route 208 the tall grass was just ahead and i told and while taking a drink of water from my bottle when Manny rushed into the grass.

"Manny wait! Wait" i called running after him once i found him in the grass and everything was quiet for a good 30 seconds and then there was rustle and it jumped at us.

[Chronos]

Something got out of the bush, but either Callum, nor Manny could see it. It went fast and hit directly the poor Swinub, making him jump backwards.

A light singing came from the bush, it sounded something like:

"Raaaaaaaaal..."

The bush wasn't moving. But the pokémon was still in there, waiting.

"Manny!You alright?"

"Nub!" he replied

"Alright run in there and use powder snow!and try to bring it out"

The little pig Pokemon ran out of my site and the same noise as before could be heard and a Ralts
Came out of the bush!

OOC:I really hope that's the Pokemon you meant XD

"Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal!"

The pokémon cried and hurried out of the bush: it was frightened but the Swinub. Squealing now and then, it went hiding behind Callum's legs. The Ralts' hands were very cold.

Manny was coming out of the bush, ready to attack.

"Manny wait!" i said picking up the ralts.

"You OK there buddy?"

"raaaal"it said whimpering and shivering,it looked like the powder snow attack hit it pretty bad

Unsure of what to do i took out the potion from my bag and sprayed it on the Ralts.

Ralts' body quickly warmed up, for it alters depending on a person's fealing.

"Ral..."

She was shy, but smiling at Callum. She was still afraid of the Swinub, though, and quicly ran back behind the trainer when Manny stepped forward. Ralts sensed that the pig pokémon wasn't satisfied of the battle.

Manny looked like he wanted to battle i told him she was too scared to battle.he stepped down disappointed but understanding

"so Ralts do you wanna join me to be top coordinator?"the question was random but the Ralts was really growing on me and she was really cute.

[Chronos]

Ralts understood immediatly. Psychic pokémons have a different way to understand people, they really go deep into minds to search ever aspect of you. Ralts knew Callum was a good person, that's why she nodded.

"Ralt...!"

She was waiting for the pokéball, as if she knew how everything worked in the human/pokémon bond.

"great!"I took the only pokeball from my bag and lightly tapped her on the head she was absorbed into the ball.

[Chronos]

The pokéball moved.

Right nudge.

"Awesome!"i called letting out Valerie as so i named the Ralts who liked the name.

We spent the rest of the day training against some wild bidoofs and zubats.
Valerie had a mean confusion attack but was not as powerful as Manny who was somewhat jealous of Valerie and was trying to show off his power which was not a bad thing the sun was beginning to set and we were making our way back to Gwen's house.tomorrow we had our first contest then i was on my own.
